The Pogues、バンド黎明期から金字塔アルバム『堕ちた天使』発表までの、僅か5年弱ながら"激動"という言葉こそが似つかわしい1985〜88年のサウンドボード・ライブ音源をコンパイルした必聴音源集の登場。まず最初（CD1からCD2のt-03まで）に収録され、本タイトル最大の聴き所となっているのが、絶頂期1988年におこなわれた東京公演のステレオ・サウンドボード音源です。『堕ちた天使』を携えておこなわれた伝説的な一夜のステージを、最新のデジタル・リマスターが施された超高音質で完全収録しています。この東京公演を一つの終着点に見立てて遡る形で、CD2のt-04以降CD3まで、1985年のアイルランドでのライブ、スウェーデンでのライブ、87年のスイスでのライブと時系列に収録されており、88年3月にロンドンでのTown and Country Clubでおこなわれたライブからの「Thousands Are Sailing」で締めとなっています。一部マスターに起因するノイズ箇所やドロップ箇所もありますが、全編超高音質のサウンドボード録音なので、初期3部作とともに歩んだポーグス黄金期の歴史、“County Hell”からバブルに沸き立つ東洋の島国に至るまでの道程を余すところなく伝えてくれることでしょう。ボーナスDVDには1988年東京公演のライブ映像を、こちらも最新リマスターの施された高画質プロショットにて収録しています。
